For all Lost fans, Wednesday is the most important day of the week, after all it is the only day they can catch up on their favorite soap. JJ Abrams, Jeffrey Lieber, Damon Lindelof ’s Lost on ABC Network has broken most records on its way to the top and has created such never seen before frenzy, that on Wednesday it is impossible to make a Lost fan leave the couch and the television set.

It is a totally different concept with adventure and action thrown in for good measure, and this is the main reason for its ever growing popularity. Lost Untangled is probably the most watched as it is the finale of the season and it signifies the end of one plot and the beginning of another.

The Lost Season 1 saw the landing of estranged Oceanic Flight 815 on a desolated island full of mysterious happenings and equally mysterious creatures with the coming together of the passengers on that fateful flight, their tryst with the supernatural powers there and the ultimate fight for survival intertwined with moments of laughter, hardship, adventure, success and intimacy between the characters.

The Lost Untangled for Season 1 ended with the some hints and teasers like the apparition or a ghost nicknamed “The Smoke Monster” which became the reason for deaths of 4 characters in the Pilot series. The episodes which are on air right before Lost Untangled, have kept the viewers glued to their television sets. This episode usually sees the culmination of one mystery and the beginning of another as also airing some strange events to keep the audience guessing.

The Lost Season 2 had a very strange incident and Kate was the unfortunate person who went down because of it. Then an equally mysterious disappearance of Walt, under such circumstances opened the doors of speculation, especially when Jack and Sayid try to look out for him. “The others” make an appearance and kidnap Kate, Sawyer, Jack and Hurley, in order to get his son back.

The Lost Season 2 saw the blowing of the mysterious ‘hatch’ and Kate being chosen as the one to go down in it. The disappearance of Walt under shrouded circumstances is still open to speculation with jack and Sayid strive to find him. Michael betrays the group and has sided with “The Others” leading to the capture of Kate, Sawyer, Jack and Hurley, in order his son be restored to him. The Lost Season 2 sees the discovery of the real reasons behind the plane crash which left the unfortunate passengers at the mercy of “The Others” and the supernatural powers. But as pointed out, a Lost Untangled always paves the way for new mystery and so has for the Season 2 left fans in grip over the safety of those captured.

Lost has been a grand success and has kept the viewers gasping for more with its excellent story line. It has been one of the best shows in the history of television, and shows the true side of human nature.
